2008年1月16日今天早上的MacWorld 2008大会上，MacBook Air终于没有悬念而又不可思议地发布了,乔布斯是把它从一个大信封当中抽出来的.今天已经开始接受预订,售价为1799美金.这款世界上最轻薄的笔记本电脑只有 0.16-0.7 英寸,银色机身,无光驱,甚至连LAN口都没有,可以放进一个信封.多触点鼠标,13.3吋LED背光显示器,全尺寸键盘.80G标准硬盘,可选60G SSD硬盘.

#厚度最薄处达到0.4厘米,最厚处为1.94厘米.笔记本显示器为LCD 13.3寸,高亮并且比传统笔记本屏幕省电. 虽然这款笔记本的重量和厚度都小到惊人,其显卡为Intel GMA X3100, 完全可以胜任WOW等游戏的需求,最高输出分辨率1920×1200.同样他也具备Macbook Pro的背光键盘.其键盘可以根据周围的环境亮度发光,屏幕也可以根据环境亮度调整其亮度. 300万像素的内置摄像头,带有iPhone的MultiTouch技术的超大触摸板.无线方面支持目前最高标准的802.11n和蓝牙2.1EDR.接 口支持数字DVI,模拟VGA,S video,和一个USB2.0,但是只支持模拟音频输出,不过这已经足够了. 电池续航能力,据苹果网站上数据,可以达到5个小时. 这是一款把Portable做到极限的笔记本,相信会对笔记本行业产生很大的影响.
