Two weeks ago I went to hospital for an examination of visual acuity. Even I know it’s sunday though the amount of people in hospital amazed me. Can you image that there are 40-50 people waiting outside a little room in hospital? Finally I got to the doctor’s side after 1 hour’s waiting. Before that there was an interesting dialogue between a female patient and the doctor who was busy with the examination for her.
The woman said why the results which the doctor gave was different with the one which the seller of eyeglass shop gave. The doctor ask her, who do will you trust in? The woman looked like a little shame and answered that she believe in the doctor. Then the doctor told her that before he come to the hospital he got a course in four years in school and he also learned the consultant interview course , but the seller may be only trained in one month for the work. The doctor’s answer can not be right any more.
As far as I know, all of the doctors need learn many different courses in school, such as consultant interview and medical management courses. They have many experience and some other abilities on examination and therapy and sometimes they can teach the teacher. So in most time we should trust in our doctors rather than the others.
